Heat or cold therapy for Arthritis

Should I use Cold or heat for my arthritis pain?

A common question should I use cold or heat for aches and pains. The general rule is that in the first 48 hours after an injury, cold should be used to reduce inflammation. After the first 48 hours, ice or heat may be used. The common sense advice is: use what works! If cold makes the pain feel better, then use that. If heat makes the pain feel better, that is okay, too.
We have several items that are used by people suffering from arthritic pain.

For the hands we have our warming mitts.

For other general aches and pains we have a variety of heat packs that can all be used hot or cold
